Coordinadora Paz para la Mujer
For 26 year, Coordinadora Paz para la Mujer has been organizing against gender-based violence. They are a coalition made up of 35 organizations and 14 individual members. Among those in their network are emergency shelters, service organizations, universities, feminists and human rights activists who advocate against violence against women, with a focus on partner violence and sexual assault. They provide community education, technical assistance and support through referrals for survivors of gender-based violence, victim assistance programs and other related organizations that work with survivors and their children.
