Comedor Comunitario Pedro Albizu Campos

The Comedor Comunitario Pedro Albizu Campos emerged as a joint initiative among groups, "Se Acabaron Las Promesas", "Papel Machete", "Agitarte" and "neighbors of Old San Juan and La Perla”. Together they organized a multidisciplinary space that integrated the community through cultural, educational, culinary and political-economic development activities at the height of relief efforts post Hurricane Maria.

The group has expanded their work and is now known as Centro de Apoyo a Movimientos Sociales y Activistas (CAMSA), a space of solidarity and support for social movements and activists defending Puerto Rican culture and liberation.
